MARI FAHRBACH

Mari received a Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) at a college in New York, where she’s originally from. She began her career working on a med-surg floor in the hospital setting. She then gained interest in cardiology, so she worked as a Nurse Manager on a cardiac step-down unit. She then moved on to supervise nurses in critical care, operating room (OR) and in the emergency room (ER).

When Mari and her family moved to Richmond, she worked on a special Vascular Access Team as Team Leader at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. In this role, she was responsible for placing IV's, PICC lines and midlines. She also participated in clinical research and wrote policies for the hospital.

She currently works for a IV medical company. She travels locally and throughout the country teaching IV products to nurses and physicians.

Mari is married with 5 children and 7 grandchildren keeping her very busy when not working. She loves to travel, including returning back to NY as much as possible to see her family and friends who still live there. She exercises daily, enjoys tennis, spending time at the beach, reading a good book and binge watching TV.
